Size & Fit Guide

Readymade blouses in India are sized by bust measurement in inches — a size 36 blouse is made for a 36-inch bust. You only need one number, and it takes two minutes to find.

1. Measure your bust

  1. Use a soft measuring tape. Stand straight and breathe normally.
  2. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level all the way round your back.
  3. Keep it snug but not tight — you should be able to slide one finger under it.
  4. Our blouses are padded, so measure without a padded bra for the truest number.

2. Find your size

This is the general Indian readymade sizing convention. Each colour is a single piece, so the size available differs from piece to piece — we confirm the exact measurement of the piece you like before you pay.

Good to know

Between two sizes?Choose the larger one. A tailor can usually take a blouse in, but can rarely let it out.
Halter tie-back stylesMeher (BLS-001) and Gulbahar (BLS-003) tie at the neck and back, so you can adjust how snugly they sit. Your bust size still decides the fit.
Front-opening styleNoor (BLS-002) closes at the front, so choose your bust size accurately.
SleevesMatching sleeves are included inside every blouse.
